Aldar Dashiev is a classically trained singer specializing in baroque and traditional music. Originally from Buryatia, Aldar’s journey as a musician spans diverse cultures and styles, blending the rich heritage of his roots with the refined artistry of European classical music.

Musical Education

Aldar began his musical studies in Buryatia and Mongolia, mastering traditional Mongolian long song (urtyn duu) and choral conducting. He then moved to Italy, where he studied opera and baroque singing at prestigious conservatories in Trieste and Venice under renowned teachers like Rita Susovsky, Cinzia De Mola, Cristina Miatello, and Luca Dordolo. In 2024, Aldar graduated from the Venice Conservatory, earning a degree in baroque singing.

Professional Achievements

Aldar has performed in notable venues such as the Margravial Opera House in Bayreuth, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as part of the Baroque Bayreuth festival. He has also appeared in major productions of Antonio Vivaldi’s opera Orlando Furioso in Ferrara and Modena, collaborating with esteemed conductors like Federico Maria Sardelli. His repertoire includes both technical and expressive works, ranging from baroque arias to traditional songs.

In addition to his operatic performances, Aldar has showcased his artistry in projects such as “Carta Canta” in Venice and concerts at historic theaters in Italy and Germany. His passion for preserving cultural heritage is reflected in his dedication to performing and teaching traditional music.
